1912 Wertz Family Reunion Photo

Can you help identify ANY of these people?

Mary Hummell of Bidwell, Ohio has a wonderful photo which is six feet long and six inches wide, of a 1912 Wertz family reunion, believed taken in the summer of 1912 probably near Anderson, Indiana, perhaps at the Daniel Wertz Jr. farm.    Daniel Wertz Sr., 1781-1873, was the ancestor of Mary Hummell, and father of Jerome Wertz, 1831-1914.   Jerome and his wife, Sarah Schencek Wertz, lived at Miamisburg, Ohio and Jerome is in this picture.

Mary believes that Jerome Wertz is “the man seated in the middle row in long sleeved shirt with suspenders, at about 5 o’clock, if you consider the dinnerbell the clockface center.”

Mary believes that she has identified a few of Jerome’s family as follows:   “Jerome’s daughter in law, Hannah Goudy Wertz (wife of William S. Wertz, 1859-1954) and her daughter Marion (born December 1895) are standing as the sixth and seventh persons to Jerome’s left in the row just behind him.”     And “four of the children in the front row at Jerome’s knee are (Mary’s) aunts and uncles.”

Can anyone help identify any of the other family members pictured?   They are likely all descendants of Daniel Wertz Sr., 1781-1873, and his fourteen children.  This Daniel Wertz Sr. was a son of John Cunradt Wertz, 1735-1792, and grandson of emigrant Hans Jacob Wertz.
